Where It All Began

In December 2020, two unlikely co-founders came together with a shared dream — to make sure no Indian ever had to miss the taste of home.

Vinod Kulhari and Suman Choudhary saw a gap that no one was filling: India's most beloved regional foods — the ones made by generational halwai families and local artisan masters — were disappearing from modern life, locked away in their cities of origin.

They founded SweeDesi with a simple but powerful mission: give India's small regional artisans a global platform, and bring the taste of home to every Indian, wherever they are.
